Tranquilised

Look at my wings , admire the hues ,admire my flips
my eyes are  bright , my lips turned pink,
the memories of darker side , abandoned , I can fly
my mind is free;
you came into my life when I thought " Love is a myth"
I told myself "It does not exist"
though I searched for the bliss that I thought is a myth ,
you changed my life , you changed my guise ,
my unquenchable thirst ,now satiated am tranquilised ;
few miles away though at a distance , you live
but your heart throb I can hear though you are no where to be seen ,
 your existence I can feel ,your presence I know is real ,
I remember the night , when you told me " Now you can flip "
when you swung your arm around,when I was smitten in your wings;
charmed ,captivated , enchanted ,when tears rolled down my cheeks
couldn't believe , I pinched and realised am alive
you are there for real , for me
my hues , my wings my smiles , are the testimony
and my submission says my heart has healed
now stay in my life , be there until I live
 few miles away , your presence is all I need .
