If You Love Someone

Few lines inspired by the famous saying " If you love someone set them free
If they come back to you they are yours If they don't they were never yours "

I was about to leave when you stepped into my life
Like a storm that never informs before it arrives

The tulips that you wrote with your name  on my heart  
They relieved me of the pain that I felt before you came into my life

Your musk that you spread every where before you left to comeback again 
My breath is still enticed by you and can smell it when I recite your name

I can still hear you say  , " I can  give you no name
But through out your life you will find me with you by your side  "

Though I can see you are still there but who is this  Nightingale
That I see every time I snoop into your life 

Like a shadow she follows you every where 
Even on the path that you may tread by mistake

Now tell me where am I wrong when I say 
I am willing to drift away if you like 

I am only being pragmatist and want to set you free
And unfurl like a flower in fresh air

If your love for me is true you will come back to me
If not in this life then may be in the next life

Like they say " If you love someone set them free
