Aphrodite

On a day,when life like a benevolent wave ,

No mood to inflict pain ,

Smiled like sun shine , her eyes too gave away

And it rained ,

Though I was amazed but looked away ,

Drenched in rain  I moved away ,

I heard some one call out my name ,

I slowed down my pace ,

Turned back to look who is there ,

She stood at the gate , Looked like Aphrodite ,

She made her way through ,while I gazed ,

I heard her say , "I came to grace the ocassion , a divine day ,

To see you in euphoria ,that was the aim ,so I came ,

Now wipe out your tears , is the only reason I am here ,

Dont look away ,dont turn your face ,

Its time for you to celebrate ,your love my dear ,

Now change your apparel ,I got some smiles to drape ,

Slick down your hair ,they look ransacked for years ,

But dont paint your lips , he is on the way ,

He will decorate , he will smear

Your lips he said "he only will burnish my dear "
