An ultra modern woman like me ,who has always been ahead of her generation but some how have very orthodox views when it comes to love .Today while I was reading a blog about some porn magazine I wondered how can one get a kick out of it . If a man and a woman are truly in love they need no stimulator , every action ,every expression becomes a stimulator in itself for the other partner. Emotions have always been dominant in my life , being in love was a dream for me .I became a vagabond in search of true love, love that knows no bounds and has deep meaning , union of souls , a feeling that only few fortunate people experience which is quite rare . Like Paula Coelho says "if you truly want something the entire universe aligns itself to give it to you " though a little late in life but I found true love and here I express my feelings for some one who I am truly in love with .I may sound foolish but that's the way I am .Before it gets too late here we go...
Did I hear you say
"who you are ,I cant recall "
Go back to last night,
When you came across
Dust of stars,
You said " Its A Beautiful Ruin "
Ruined in churn of life ,
I was among the stars ,
The luster may have gone,
But the soul never died ,
Here I am ,
With handful fragments of my heart,
My naked body
The marks are souvenir of my past ,
Camouflage , hide me in your arms,
Give me some respite,
Am on run,
Broke free from The Sword of Life ,
Couldn't resist being yours ,
You are my life ,
Am dust , look beneath your feet
There I lie,
For me ,your subtle smile is source of life ,
Drown me in your eyes ,
Let me live in your heart ,
Am dust with a golden heart ,
Am sure now you can recall ,
Am the one last night you came across .

beautiful and deep shashi :)
DeleteEvery love has to find its own equilibrium and establish its own relationship. Moulding it to suit modernity is as much a tyranny over the self as moulding it to suit tradition.

Liked the introduction part. This is like a symphony...Lovely, Alka. ..
ReplyDeleteApt preamble to love-poem, in our times! It reminds me Meera!!
ReplyDeleteIn our times, when love is much abused for-letter word, your poem is relief.
